Officially Sophia Catherine Yang Chun Gould

The adoption is final and as the Chinese government says irreversible. Yahoooo! Last night was a little difficult to say the least. Sophie was definetly grieving the loss of her foster Mom. We found out this morning she was only taken from her hours before we got her. She kept crying mama and iee which were names for her. Heart breaking. A friend sent the scripture regarding joy coming in the morning and indeed it did. It was as though God was mending us together through out the night and completed the work right before the adoption was complete. She looked up at me this morning on the bus, laid her head on my chest, grabbed my finger and fell asleep. She woke up a completely different child. She has been hugging and reaching for Andy and I all day. She even pushed the Orphanage Directors hand away this morning and smushed her face into my chest. This was the man she was reaching for yesterday. We are sold out for her and this entire process. It's very hard emotionally but very worth it. We signed a ton of papers this morning, posed for our official family picture, went shopping (Sophie loves the store) and then Sophie fell asleep on my lap again and is still sleeping (2hours and counting). She also took her first bottle today, she was refusing yesterday which was stressful. (The babies like coffee hot milk with bottles with huge holes). You guys are holding us up with your love. Thank you.
