The Great Wall of China

Today we toured Beijing, including a jade factory, chinese lunch and a 1 1/2 hike up to the top of the Great Wall. About 8 out of the 24 made it with us. I will post the pictures tomorrow. We bought the baby a Jade bangle, I am suppose to wear it until her wedding day then give it to her. So many traditions here. Very awesome, I am amazed to see all God has created in such a different way from what we are used to. Also, to realize what it is like to be a minority. People are so interested in why we are here, why we are adopting, how can we pay for 3 daughters. The agency gave us a card to written in chinese to explain that we are christian and feel like all are God's children and deserve God's love through us. Amazing. I have cried about oh 10 times today when I am hit with God's love and how he brought us around the world for one little life. Crying again... God is so big. My heart is growing for the Chinese already, they are so kind I want to share Christ with them so badly. We leave for our provence tomorrow. Another flight. Ugh! Atleast we are one step closer to daughter number 3. Love to you all. Julie
