Praying for comfort for the birth mothers

I have often wondered how I would try to explain to our daughter why her mother abandoned her. I read this quote tonight and my heart broke for the Chinese mothers. I know what it feels like to lose a daughter and their birthmother's pain is the same. Please pray for comfort for these woman who feel they have no other choice but to give their daughters away. One child adopted from China was found with a note that read: "In our countryside, the thought that man is more important than woman is very popular. I myself don't have the strength to overthrow it."
