Ever wondered what Siberia looked like

This is a picture of Siberia from 35,000 feet. We traveled 7000 miles yesterday and made it Beijing in the evening after about 21 hours of travel time. I must say we were a little overwhelmed by the trip length. We watched 4 movies, slept and ate and ate and ate. I can't believe we are here it is very modern,
Andy thinks a little depressing, alot of poverty. We also ventured on our own for dinner last night, mine a choice good, Andy's choice, well he is still regretting it. We got to the Great Wall, Tienamen Square, Forbidden City and for a traditional Chinese meal, which by the way does not come close to resembling US Chinese food. The people are very helpful but the language barrier is a challenge, it sounds like they are always mad when they are talking but it is just the different inflections they have.
